Warm flashes in leg

The last several weeks, I've been getting occasional warm flashes on my lower right leg. Not uncomfortable, but odd, especially when it happens while I'm swimming in the cool water of a pool. I searched on-line and this may be the answer: Peripheral Neuropathy.
