The Manosphere aims to empower men and a positive masculinity in modern society with the red pill, the metaphor from The Matrix for awakening to the truth. There is a growing number and diversity of thoughtful men and women red-pill bloggers fighting the blue pill.

The Red Pill Room by the pseudonymous Ian Ironwood is a recent find. Ian's posts are long and most of them take more than one sitting to read, but the content is rich and includes guidance towards an honorable, functional manhood. His 3 posts (resolutions, observations, and a reminder) to start the new year hit center mass. Follow Ian's AMA (ask me anything) at The Red Pill reddit. He recommends revenge story "Bean Counter", which I suspect he wrote, at erotic (NSFW) story site Literotica as the closest thing to a red pill parable.
Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi, also a pseudonym, is another incisive red-pill blog with a different take. Tomassi is an unsentimental anatomist; read everything, starting with his Year One anthology. For example, he recommends the harsh 48 Laws of Power as beginner reading for the red pill and highlights the necessity for men, starting as boys, to undergo a sequence of initiations and rites of passage (with girls and women) to gain the necessary building blocks to learn to be mature men. Tomassi will be doing an AMA on January 21.
