Post 100 - Korean War memorial
This is post 100 on my blog. It's a mini-milestone, I guess. As worthy a way as any to celebrate the occasion is to post this picture of the Korean War memorial in Washington D.C.. I pulled it from Dale Franks at the QandO blog.
Haunting, isn't it? Largely because I actually served in Korea (not during the war, of course), the Korean War memorial is my favorite military memorial in D.C.. I think it's also aesthetically the best military memorial and the most effective at honoring the men and women who honorably served in an honorable war.
