Cool website of the day: Lifehacker
Lifehacker shares do-it-yourself (DIY) ideas for everyday living. The website is more elaborate than I like, but the content is intriguing. It looks useful. I hope the ideas work and aren't just non-functional gimmicks.
Lifehacker Australia re-posts a lot of the content from Lifehacker with some original content added.
Lifehacker recalls the frugal self-reliance and ingenuity of the Great-Depression generation. I support the Lifehacker ethic of improving one's quality of life by creatively repurposing and enhancing things and methods with less waste and lower cost rather than depending on commercial goods and services.
